Re-skill rather than re-place

In many areas of the automotive industry, expert labour in is in short supply. But a solution to skill-base issues can be closer than many companies think.

A company’s current workforce is a valuable resource waiting to be tapped.

Employers know their employees, know their reliability and can anticipate their potential, so re-training rather than recruitment is a popular option avoiding the need to take chances with new and unproven staff.

Fully realising employee potential inevitably provides a measurable impact on business growth so Skills4Auto works with industry and educators to provide training programmes that will optimise this potential.

Our Mature Apprenticeship programme is a part time, 21-month course designed to up-skill your employees and further help your business to move forward. Course employees will acquire relevant key skills and work towards an appropriate NVQ 2 or 3 and a Technical Certificate.

To further assist our employer partners, Skills4Auto will recruit and fund a suitable ‘backfill employee’ to cover for team members during their training.
